Bugatti and Adidas have teamed up to create a special edition football boot, the X Crazyfast, with only 99 pairs being made available. The boot is designed with Bugatti’s mantra “Form Follows Performance” in mind and is made with Adidas’ Speedframe sole plate technology to provide the wearer with a lightweight yet rigid plate for swift acceleration. Additional features include the Aerocage innovation, an engineered lining aimed at providing optimum support, and the Aeropacity Speedskin, a breathable single-layer mono-mesh.
The boot is further enhanced with semi-transparent mono-mesh material in Bugatti Blue, a tribute to the classic Grand Prix cars of the past, and the insignia of Ettore Bugatti is subtly placed across the rear three-quarter of the boot. To add to the exclusivity of the collaboration, the boots come in a unique box inspired by carbon fiber weaves, mirroring the construction material of Bugatti Hyper sports cars.
Football stars Rafael Leao and Karim Benzema will be the first to showcase the new boot, with an official unveiling on the pitch. Afterward, interested collectors will be able to bid for the limited edition boot through a dedicated page on the Adidas Web3 platform from November 8 to 11, with the winners being able to redeem an exclusive digital shoebox for a physical pair and digital twin starting November 13.
